As of SP2 in BusinessObjects XI 3.1 a new feature is available – BI Web Services, which enables users to create web services directly from Web Intelligence (Rich Client only at the moment).
This is a very interesting feature for developers of Xcelsius (Dashboard Design) dashboards.
